Quick Start Guide
Updated over a month ago

Now that you’ve successfully logged into the DataCandy Back Office, here’s a quick tour of the essentials to get you started!

Dashboard

This is the first page you see when you log in, and once built, it’s a quick glance at the performance of your program.

  • There are various widgets you can select from to decide which info you want to see regularly.

  • You can select which widgets you want to add and you can always make changes if need be. This dashboard is unique to you, so don't hesitate to personalise it!

Reports

  • The reports section gives you a breakdown of either your gift card or loyalty activity and program performance.

  • This can be modified by date or by store if you have multiple locations. The data in reports can always be exported into excel if need be.

Cards

  • The card "Search" tab allows you to look up any card you have in circulation.

  • Once you enter the card number you can select search and the card will populate at the bottom of the screen.

  • You can select "Details" to get more information about the card and you will have a few other options on the left side if you need to modify anything about the card.

Transactions

  • Transaction "Search" allows you to view transactions by date or transaction type. This tool could be used to see all of your transactions.

  • Once you find a particular transaction, you can select "Details" to see if the transaction was accepted or if any error occurred.

Lights Out Offers

Under the Offers tab, you will find the Lights Out promotions. Lights Out is a great way to communicate with your members in an automated way and give them rewards for different member lifecycle events.

  • There are a lot of options here but mainly, for the start of your loyalty program, we recommend configuring a Welcome message or offer, and a Birthday message or offer. That would be a great starting point!

  • Select the offer you want to add and select whether you want to give a reward or just send a message. There is a provided template, however you can modify your messages as you wish and add an image as well.

  • Send yourself a test message to give you an idea of what the message will look like for your loyalty members.

  • Once the content is ready, all you need is to toggle them on - once the toggle is green, you can hit save to activate them. They will run automatically, set and forget it!
