Viewing a profile
From the main menu select Profiles / Search.
Enter the desired search criteria.
Click Search. The results are displayed in a list at the bottom of the screen.
Adding a profile manually
In the event that you need to manually create a profile, you may do so from the DataCandy Backoffice.
Clarification:
Adding a profile from the Backoffice will not generate a card number. You will need to manually associate a loyalty card once the profile has been created.
We recommend letting the loyalty members sign up themselves through the member portal, as this provides the most accurate and up to date member information!
From the main menu select Profiles / Add.
Enter all the necessary information.
All mandatory fields will be identified with an star (*)
You can override the Completed profile status by selecting Yes:
The password you enter becomes the permanent password for the client to access their profile in the member portal - they can only personalize it through the DataCandy member portal once they are logged in.
If you are using our SMS feature, entering the mobile number manually will not send a phone number verification SMS to the member. You will have to set the phone type and the verification status manually, as well as deciding a communication preference for the member.
Click Save.
Once saved, you will need to associate a card to the profile.
Associate a card
Associating a card to a profile will ensure that the member is able to access the card and see its balance when they log into the member portal. You can associate multiple cards to the same profile.
Clarification: You can associate multiple cards to a specifc profile, but a card cannot be associated to more than one profile!
From the Profile / Details screen, click Associate Card.
Enter the Card Number you wish to associate to a profile.
Click Validate.
Once validated, your card will be successfully added to the profile.
Useful tip:
If you associate a loyalty card to a profile that is set as complete, the member will be able to redeem their points or rewards right away!
Removing a card
From the Profile / Details screen, click Remove Card.
On the card that you wish to remove, select Remove card from profile
Confirm that you wish to remove it.
Once confirmed, your card will be successfully removed from the profile.
Useful tip:
Before removing a card that will no longer be used, we recommend emptying its balance and setting it's status it inactive. Once removed from the profile, it will be hard to find the card again to inactivate it! This also help keep your database and reports accurate.
