Target Lists

Use targets to segment your loyalty members and setup personnalised offers and communications.

Updated over a month ago

Targets allow you to group your loyalty members based on different filters and specifications. They can then be applied to your promotions, punch cards and communication campaigns and allow you to personnalize them for a specific audience!

Clarification:

Targets are only available on our DC PRO package. If you wish to use this feature but it is not visible in the DataCandy Backoffice, please reach out to your DataCandy contact to upgrade your solution.

Target Types

  1. Member profiles - This is the one you will most commonly use!

  2. Member associations

Conditions

The filters allows you to choose members based on any number of criteria: age, location, gender, merchants visited, items purchased etc. You can also add and combine conditions to further narrow down your results.

    3. Daily: The target list is dynamic and is automatically refreshed daily, overnight. There is a limit of 5 targets that you can use this option on. Make them count!

  12. When you are satisfied with the selected audience, click Save. Your list of members will be displayed as Target Details.

Caution:

  • Once the target is saved, you can no longer edit its conditions or filters.

  • You cannot delete a target - if you wish to do so, please reach out to your DataCandy contact.

Useful tips:

  • You can use the percentage sign (%) to add partial values to your condition. For example, for a geographical location, you may enter the partial postal code or ZIP code followed by the "%" sign; it will pull all eligible members that have a that information in their profile.

  • If the member count in your target seems a bit low, try editing or removing some conditions to cast a wider net! Remember, your results are also dependant on wether the information is available in your member's profile or not.

Clarification:

A Cakemail subscription is required to benefit from the integration. To learn more about Cakemail and the functionalities available through the integration, please reach out to your DataCandy contact.
