Rules on Punch card rules!
For all punch card options, you can have it single or multiple levels. You determine how many levels you want in your punch card when you create it.
For multilevel rewards, the member is only eligible for one reward within the level and will receive the most valuable reward available for their actions. If they reach the higher level immediately, they get the reward for that level only. For example, if the rule is:
Spend $5 get a free coffee
Spend $10 get a free juice
and the member spends $10 in their first transaction, they only get the free juice.
Punch cards generally behave as a cycle; if a member buys, visits or spends more than required to get the reward, the extra is carried over to the next level or next cycle.
Once they meet the requirements, members can choose from a list of different rewards. If using a POS system, the entire list of choices will be displayed and the selected reward will be returned to DataCandy.
Members can accumulate and redeem globally (at all merchants where the rule is available) or by merchant (at individual merchants).
